So I’ve been online for the past two weeks – a lot. It seems as though I’ve been sucked into a time warp where I’ve aged my closet 6 months (as in… why is neon pink still present? White t-shirts? capris?) and spent far too long mastering this stupid facebook game. gah.
I’m been using google reader to keep track of the many, many blogs I’ve fallen in love with. Unfortunately, it makes it a lot easier to skim the blogs instead of really reading and enjoying. I have managed to find a few things over the past week that ‘I basically can’t live without.
WATCHES – and more than one of them.
Top two photos taken from Daily Work It (love, love her blog)
Bottom photo taken from Outsapop
What do you think? I don’t wear a watch… but I think I like the idea of wearing them as accessories? Around your neck? I don’t know. I’m a fashion victim. sigh.

“I´m a crafty fashionaddicted girl from Finland. I´ve studied clothes making and graduated in 2000. Nowadays I´m most into customizing clothes for myself. I started this blog to share all the DIY inspiration and recycle fashion ideas I find online and my own DIY fashion projects. Recycled materials + fashion = trashion.”
Check out her blog. Lately… I’ve been enamored with this idea:
What do you think? Could I pull it off? At the end of last season – I bought (literally) 6 sweaters from Old Navy with a crew neck in lovely colours that I could (probably) match. I don’t know. Not only am I a fashion victim (if only you could see today’s outfit) but I’m fashion challenged and also a fashion chicken.
I found this blog this weekend. I love it. I hate saying things like this (but whatever)… but I feel like her outfits would work well on my body type (i.e. not a size 2). Her blog is great… it seems like she buys a lot of her staple pieces at stores i have access to. Ok, i found two of them… here are the linky-poos and a sweet outfit from each..
Elements of Style: linky-poo
Fashion for the Economically Challenged: linky-poo
On an off topic… I’m going to the states again in about 4 weeks and need a game plan. I have a v. large budget (i.e. >$500) and want to update my wardrobe. Maybe in the next few weeks i can make a list and you guys can help me edit it. k cool.
Finally, item number 4:
I need a pair of booties. Help me.
Here are examples:
1. I hate spending more than $35 on, well, anything
2. They can’t be leather (and well, that makes sense for that price)
3. The heel can’t be taller than 2.5″…. I need to be able to wear them!
ok help! Thanks internet!
ANTM update (I’m two episodes behind, oops)
Project Runway… I think I’m 3 episodes behind on this one. I’m a blogging failure.
