What a whirlwind the past 6 weeks or so has been. 30in30 was an amazing success (believe it or not, it’s not over. I have two more awesome prizes to give away. I will likely post the giveaways this weekend).
Christmas spoiled me rotten. I was lucky enough to receive a pair of Jeneca Klausen earrings I was lusting over as well as a few other goodies… *cough* CHANEL *cough*.
The new year came with happiness and sadness. My grandfather passed away at the age of 94 and my newest cousin Reid has just turned 9 weeks old.
January is bringing big changes to Barbara Crescent (yes, I live on Barbara Crescent). I’ve made a few commitments to myself, my bank account and to the general appearance of my home.
Until Fashion Week in February, you’ll be hearing a lot about resolutions, electrical wiring, purging and saving!
A few notes about January….
++ My friend Clinton Charlton has just finished his January through December project. Each month, he wrote and recorded a new song. My boyfriend plays on his newest track, “I’ll be a Bird“. (I talked a bit about this project in April, here)
Clinton is offering up a whole package for free (12 songs!), if you’d like to listen to his tracks. Send him and e-mail with your preferred username and password and he will sign you up. It’s as easy as that.
++ There are insane sales around town. The Urban Shoe Myth has a few pairs of boots marked down to 75% off (and their BEAUTIFUL). Silver Daisy Designs has some amazing buys. Brunswick Square is hopping with after Christmas markdowns. Market Square, too.
